What to Expect
Church services are full of life and fun, aimed at being an inclusive environment for people of all generations and types of church experience. You can feel free to wear clothes that are comfortable and informal, and confident that you will be welcomed whether it’s your first time or if you’ve been going to church for years.
Church services run for approximately 75 minutes with upbeat live music and an inspirational message based on the Bible. We hold a prayer and communion service at the end of each month with an extended time of prayer and worship.
In our Scone location, a kids program for children aged 3 to Year 6 at school is offered in our weekly services.
Our Creative Academy runs during the week and offers group and individual musical instrument lessons, drama classes and literacy and numeracy tutoring.

Rebecca Murray has served in various roles at Beyond Church before moving her young family to the beautiful Upper Hunter community of Scone to pioneer Beyond Church Scone in 2020. Andrew, Rebecca’s husband, is an ordained minister with the Australian Christian Churches movement, and Rebecca is also on her pathway toward ordination as a credentialled minister. Andrew and Rebecca are passionate about reaching and connecting with new people in the Upper Hunter as this new church is established.
